The Arcs are Dan Auerbach, Leon Michels, Richard Swift, Homer Steinweiss, and Nick Movshon. “Outta My Mind” is the second release for the band, out today, with the first single, “Stay In My Corner” which debuted over on NPR.com earlier this month.

“Yours Dreamily”, title for the debut album, is set to release September, 4th on Nonesuch Records. The album also features Kenny Vaughan and Mariachi Flor de Toloache. Co-produced by Auerbach and Michels, the album was recorded in roughly two weeks through spontaneous, informal sessions across the country at the Sound Factory in Los Angeles, the Diamond Mine in Queens, Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound in Nashville, and in a lounge room at Electric Lady in Manhattan.

A group collaboration went into the writing for the album for all 13 tracks with the musicians playing a large array of roles both vocally and instrumentally.

The Arcs recently released a 7-inch single, which is available now at independent retail outlets, thearcs.com, and nonesuch.com. Inspired by the Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao boxing match, the EP includes the songs “Stay in My Corner” b/w “Tomato Can.”
